Credit Card Frauds Credit card scam refers to those fraudulent practices and cheap means adopted to cheat the credit card holders and banks offering those credit cards. Credit card frauds are of many types. Some of the common frauds include the banks trying to cheat the customer to lure more deposits or the customers trying to cheat the banks. The most recent and prominent method is cheating the customer and or bank by third parties with an intention to gain monetarily. This happens through exploiting technological advancements and modern means of communication like internet. There have been many instances whereby people produced fake credit cards and made purchases for whooping amount much to the surprise of the original customer and the banker. Though most of them have been brought to the limelight some of them are still operating under the dark. When it comes to banks they cheat the customers by charging more interest or making them to pay for the goods which they have not purchased at all. Similarly when it comes to the customers they cheat on the grounds of not having made transaction or not having signed and so on.
