The obvious thing you should consider when choosing a credit card is the annual percentage rate or APR. However, since each credit card has a different billing structure there are other things that you should check as well. These include the participation fee, monthly service charge, over limit fee, phone payment fee, late fee, annual membership fee and credit protection fee. It is important to what these things since they can take away from your credit limit. Then when you go over your limit you will have additional fees charged which will increase your debt.
