A family which comes from Midlands England may be required to pay only £825 whereas a family that comes from Scotland may have to pay as much as £1,625 per child for a two-week holiday. What is one of the main costs that parents decide to use their credit card for? It is Food. The same Nat West survey shows that the family from Scotland can be expected to pay as much as £500 on food. Whereas the family from Midlands would have to pay only around £100.
