Israeli cabbies become credit savvy
Can't find any shekels on you to pay for that ride from the Israel's airport to the hotel? Banish your fears. Hadar Lod has the answer.

Hadar Lod an Israeli taxi company has installed new equipment to take credit card payments from passengers traveling from Ben-Gurion Airport to any place. This is the first phase of a planned entry by credit card Isracard into the general taxi market.

Isracard estimated that approximately NIS 2 billion is spent on taxis in Israel annually and that about five percent of that amount will be paid by credit next year.
