Day Light Robbery Of Credit Cards In what appeared to be the worst of daylight robbery three women robbers have snatched away credit cards from pursues in a real estate office. The incident occurred when they were seeing the different model homes. This gruesome incident occurred in the beginning of the month and the pathetic fact was that it was not known until the credit card companies contacted the victims in this connection. Seminole County Sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Hoeppner has stated that arrest warrants have been issued to nab Winshenia Renee Lamarr and Denise Blanche Fuller and similarly further investigations are still going on to identify others involved in this act. It has also been reported that all purchases have been made in this retail outlet from the stolen credit card. This exposes a new modus operandi of burglars at real estate offices and similar incidents have been reported in the past. The victims also recalled the incident whereby two women from a group of three who persuaded them to see the model house while the other remained in the vehicle. Actually their attention was diverted by a phone call and then their cards were stolen. Coincidently one credit card was taken away from each of the victims purses which were left in the office. As another means to divert their attention some suspicious forms were given to them to be filled in by the victim and these forms later proved to be bogus. The suspects then fled the place. The investigators traced the identity of the culprits through several permutations and combinations. They are further apprehensive that the whole gang may target real estate offices with this modus operandi in the future also. The past records of the suspects also show that they have been severely convicted on several occasions. If people get to know occurrences of any such crime or the details of the suspects they are asked to report the same to CrimeLine at 1-800-423-TIPS. The police have also made things clear to the public and consumers are also asked to take care of their belongings to the maximum possible extent. |
